Yannis Zindrilis was born in Ioannina in 1982. He is a graduate of the Department of Topography, the Department of Photography, and Audiovisual Arts of the University of Western Attica. He has a master’s degree in “Photography: Research and Methodology” from the University of Western Attica. He has attended seminars on “Topics and Theory of Visual Arts and Photography” and “Regarding Landscape: Images, Emotions, Politics” at the Athens School of Fine Arts. He participated with the series “Vague Landscapes” at the Athens Photo Festival in 2016, as part of the exhibition “Young Greek Photographers.” His photographic work “Greek Homeless National Team” was exhibited at the Helsinki Photo Festival in 2023 and was recognized as one of the ten most popular. In the same year, his latest personal project “A Long Saturday” was presented at Thessaloniki Photobiennale. His works are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Photography in Thessaloniki. He has collaborated with newspapers and magazines. Since May 2020, he has been teaching photography at the Hellenic Cancer Society. He lives and works in Athens as a freelance photographer.

Ο Γιάννης Ζινδριλής γεννήθηκε στα Ιωάννινα το 1982. Είναι απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Τοπογραφίας, του Τμήματος Φωτογραφίας και Οπτικοακουστικών μέσων του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Αττικής. Κατέχει τον μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο, “Φωτογραφία: Έρευνα και Μεθοδολογία” του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Αττικής. Έχει παρακολουθήσει τα σεμινάρια “Θέματα και Θεωρία Εικαστικών Τεχνών και Φωτογραφίας” και “Περί τοπίου: Εικόνες, Συναισθήματα, Πολιτική” στην Ανώτατη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών της Αθήνας. Συμμετείχε με τη σειρά “Vague Landscapes” στο Athens Photo Festival το 2016, στο πλαίσιο της έκθεσης “Νέοι Έλληνες Φωτογράφοι”. Το φωτογραφικό του έργο “Greek Homeless National Team” εκτέθηκε στο Helsinki Photo Festival 2023 και διακρίθηκε ως ένα από τα δέκα δημοφιλέστερα.Την ίδια χρονιά, η τελευταία του προσωπική δουλειά “A Long Saturday” παρουσιάστηκε στη Photobiennale Θεσσαλονίκης.Έργα του υπάρχουν στην μόνιμη συλλογή του Μουσείου Φωτογραφίας Θεσσαλονίκης.  Έχει συνεργαστεί με εφημερίδες και περιοδικά. Από τον Μάιο του 2020 παραδίδει μαθήματα φωτογραφίας στην Ελληνική Αντικαρκινική Εταιρεία. Ζει και εργάζεται στην Αθήνα ως freelance φωτογράφος.
